Cookie Policy

What cookies and similar technologies this website uses, why, and how to control them.

Last updated

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on precisionoperationsgroup.com and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by a website. Related technologies — local storage, session storage, and pixels — perform similar functions. In this policy, “cookie” refers to all of them.

Cookies are first-party where set by this site and third-party where set by another domain. They are either session cookies, deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain until they expire or are cleared.

2. What this site currently uses

This website is deliberately light on cookies. As at the date of this policy we use strictly necessary cookies only.

  • Strictly necessary — required for the site to function, including secure page delivery and, for signed-in users, client portal session management and protection against cross-site request forgery. These cannot be switched off without breaking the service, and do not require consent.

We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or social media cookies, and we do not operate a cookie consent banner, because no consent-requiring cookies are set.

3. Categories we would use if introduced

If we later introduce non-essential cookies they would fall into the categories below. We would update this policy and, where the law requires it, obtain your consent through a preference tool before any such cookie is set.

  • Functional — remembering preferences such as saved form progress or display settings.
  • Analytics — understanding in aggregate which pages are used, so we can improve them.
  • Marketing — measuring campaign effectiveness. We have no present intention of using cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Third-party cookies

We do not currently embed third-party content that sets cookies. Should we add embedded media, mapping, or scheduling tools, those providers may set their own cookies governed by their own policies, and we will identify them here.

5. Managing cookies

Most browsers let you view, block, and delete cookies through their settings, usually under Privacy or Security. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of this site — particularly the client portal — from working.

You can also clear cookies already stored and configure your browser to reject them by default. Because such preferences are themselves stored on your device, clearing your browser data will reset any preference you have set.

6. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

We honour opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control where applicable law requires it. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and set no advertising cookies, such a signal has no additional effect on this site at present.

7. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy whenever we change the cookies we use. The date at the head of this document indicates when it was last revised. Material changes affecting non-essential cookies will be accompanied by a renewed request for consent where required.
